Gold Coast Schools

About, methodology and sources

How Gold Coast Schools collects, checks and presents school information.

What this site is

Gold Coast Schools brings together the information families usually have to dig out of dozens of PDFs: annual fees by year level, compulsory levies, one-off charges, discounts and the academic results schools publish. It covers 41 Catholic and independent schools across the City of Gold Coast, with full fee and results profiles for 40 of them. It is independent and not affiliated with, or paid by, any school.

Methodology

Fees

Fees are the total compulsory annual charge the school publishes for each year level (tuition plus compulsory levies). Where a school publishes tuition only, we label it “tuition only”. Each school’s fee year is shown; most are 2026, and some schools had only published an earlier year when we checked. Optional charges (boarding, music, camps, uniforms) are excluded unless noted. Fees change, so always confirm with the school.

Cost calculator

The calculator uses the school’s published fees for the first year and an annual increase you choose for later years; those later years are estimates, not school figures. Sibling and early-payment discounts are applied to tuition only, as most schools do, and never to levies.

Academic results

The QCAA does not publish school-level ATAR results. Figures shown are those schools publish themselves, so they are labelled school-reported. Schools calculate them differently (for example whole cohort vs ATAR applicants only) and many publish only selected highlights, so they are not directly comparable and are not a ranking. Where a school publishes no median we say so rather than estimate one, and schools without a figure sort last, not bottom.

School facts

Enrolment and ICSEA are from ACARA’s School Profile data (2025). ICSEA describes how educationally advantaged a school’s families are (national average 1000); it says nothing about teaching quality.

Accuracy

Every figure has a source link on the school’s page. Data was last checked on 21 October 2026. If you spot an error, please let us know and we’ll correct it. DRAFT: contact email to be added
