Our story
St Hilda’s began in 1912, when the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane bought an existing school at Southport known as Goy-te-Lea. It celebrated its centenary in 2012 and is a day and boarding school for girls from Pre-Prep to Year 12.
The campus grew decade by decade: a swimming pool in 1954, junior school buildings in 1958, the Molphy Science Centre in 1991, Pre-Prep in 2004 and the Langford Theatre in 2010. Boarders have their own wellbeing program.
